Welcome to the YoYo Games Helpdesk Service l

We use this helpdesk as a central point of contact to be able to help you with your requests (we call them tickets in our technical jargon!).

This is open during office hours 9-5pm weekdays only. If you don’t find your query covered in the below areas, please open a ticket and we will aim to get back to you within 48 hours.

GameMaker bugs and errors – please contact the technical team via http://bugs.yoyogames.com/view.php?id=751

General help and advice – most common queries are easily answered in our FAQ

Programming support – Sorry but we can’t offer full technical support through the helpdesk. You will find sections on each topic in the community pages www.gmc.yoyogames.com where there is lots of experienced users who enjoy giving help and advice.

Publishing queries – For information on YoYo Games Publishing, please go to the dedicated section on the website.

Softwrap – for activation and re-installation issues for earlier versions than GameMaker Standard 8.1, please contact support@softwrap.com

By login in to the helpdesk you can:


  • create new tickets,
  • get the status of your existing tickets as they are answered by our staff,
  • add comments and answer our questions,
  • update your contact information so we can stay in touch with you if needed.

In order to expedite your request, please create a new ticket and our staff will get back to you as soon as possible.
